On the occasion of women's day,this year Classic gallery organized an international group art exhibition titled "Infinite thoughts", where 50 women artists from all over the world participated, the artworks are in display at Art council from 8th March till 13th march, And followed up at Classic Gallery for a month,
This exhibition was inaugurated by the honored guests the chancellor Of Nepal Lalitkala pragya pratisthan Mr.kancha kumar, president of Pashupati Annapurna Ashram Mr. jagadish Vaidya, Senior Art Critic Mr.Madan lal Chitrakar , and Ass.lecturer of lalitkala campus,Dr.Sheema Sharma.
The motive of this exhibition is not only to promote women artists but in addition the finance collected from the paintings sold is used to support an organisation "sungava homes" this organisations takes care of the mentally and physically disabled women and children. They provide basic facilities and also gives them skill oriented trainings like knitting,sewing, dance, arts and crafts .
Every year on the occasion of women's day classic gallery has been organizing exhibition for women artists from Nepal, But this year, classic gallery open called women artists all over the world , Artists from 13 different countries: Nepal, India,Italy ,Srilanka, America,Spain,Taiwan ,North Mesodani, japan, Turkey,Belgium, Poland and Hungary. The displayed works were in the forms of paintings, sculptures,ceramics, print making and peformance art,
